Assalamualaikum WBT and Good morning/evening/night !

Are you ever heard about https://bigbluebutton.org/ ?
It is for Distance Learning student-teachers. I've use it and make live conference with 5-6 students with this tools.

What the advantages ?

  • A tool that allows quick access the student's computer to help them with an issue. No audio or video needed - they are usually on the phone. (join Me?) (Something that could be a link on the College website for students to access quickly when needed?)
  • A tool that works well for student services to see and talk to the student - no recording, no doc sharing (Skype? How confidential is this?)
  • A tool for faculty or tutors to present, discuss, desktop share and document share with students at a single or multiple locations (individuals and small groups) (WebEx)
  • A tool for small groups to collaborate: present, discuss, document share and share desk top with other small groups.?  (WebEx)
  • A service or tool for capturing a live or recorded classroom with live distance student participation possible. (Probably a fixed room with special AV - but if anyone has mobile suggestions that would be great!

Assalamualaikum WBT and yeahhhhh Halloooooo again guys ! Its my second entries bout teaching and learning tools.... technology tools ! Sooooo, this time I want to share bout www.powtoon.com   ! Why I use powtoon? because its really fun and friendly user. In my teaching and learning I used powtoon to create/present my story telling to my pupils in the classroom. My pupils really enjoyed and have fun with the interesting animations. What is POWTOON ? PowToon is Web-based animation software that allows users to create animated presentations by manipulating pre-created objects, imported images, provided music and user created voice-overs. Assalamualaikum WBT and hallloooooo guys ! Are you love to watch www.youtube.com ?? I'm also love to to watch Youtube. Inside the classroom, sometimes I let the pupils to watch cartoon from the Youtube using LCD Projector, if they get bored. But youtube really help me much because I also learn from youtube if I want to learn doing something that I don't know how to do it. For children, they can learn Phonics from youtube. other than that, children also can learn musical from youtube
